Dr Leslie Dhaniram M.B.Ch.B (Uni of Natal SA); F.R.A.C.G.P joined the group in August 2005 and is a Director.  Dr Dhaniram works full time at Lindsay Street Medical Centre and limited Saturdays at Highfield’s and District Medical Centre.  Dr Dhaniram’s special interests include: – Travel Medicine, Men’s Health and Respiratory Medicine, however he enjoys all areas of General Practice.  Dr Dhaniram is also a GPTQ Accredited Supervisor.

 

Dr Richie Jaggi M.B.B.S., F.R.A.C.G.P, D.C.H. is a RACGP

 Dr Jaggi is a UQ medical examiner and enjoys all areas of general practice.  She has a special interest in women’s health including antenatal care, paediatrics, travel medicine, chronic disease management, diabetes and family medicine.  Dr Jaggi works Monday to Friday at our Lindsay Street practice and  Welcomes New Patients.  Dr Jaggi also speaks Punjabi and Hindi.

 

 

Our Registrar isDr Michelle Seckington  M.B.B.S ( Hons);

Dr Seckington joined us on the 23rd January 2019, at Lindsay Street Medical Centre.

Michelle graduated from Monash University and has been working in the Southern Health Hospital region in Melbourne and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Brisbane.  Michelle enjoys all areas of general practice; and has a special interest in primary preventative medicine, mental health and men’s health.Michelle will work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s every week and limited Saturday’s at our Highfield’s District Medical Centre.  Michelle Welcomes new patients.

Dr Gabriel (Harvey) Roux M.B.Ch.B; FACRRM; F.R.A.C.G.P conducts Skin Clinics Mondays and Wednesdays at Highfields and Tuesdays  at Lindsay Street.  Dr Roux and his nurse Hannelie welcome appointments from new and existing patients and no referral is required.  Bookings and his practice fees are available via our receptionists or via http://www.skincadoc.com

Our TRAVEL CLINIC

Dr Dhaniram is a registered travel clinic provider and can provide you comprehensive advice and assist with all your travel needs.  Travel vaccinations and travel consumables are available on site including Yellow Fever at Lindsay Street Medical Centre.

Highfields and District Medical Centre

Dr Shiva Nand M.B.B.S.; F.R.A.C.G.P

Dr Nand works every day and limited Saturday’s at the Highfield’s Practice and joined the group as a Director in 2016.  Dr Nand has had extensive Paediatric experience at Mater Children’s, Toowoomba Base and Royal Children’s Hospital’s.

Dr Nand special interests are in Mental Health, Family and General Medicine and Chronic Disease, especially in Diabetes and Aboriginal Health. Dr Nand has commenced working on Wednesday evenings 5pm to 7 pm,  for after work appointments to allow working parents an opportunity to see their friendly GP.

Dr Nand, Dr Sukhnundan and Dr Eswaran are accredited supervisors with General Practice Training Queensland. This allows us to employ Registrars in all training stages on a full time basis.  Each Registrar stays with us for a minimum of six months .

 

Dr Anoosh Sukhnundan M.B.B.Ch (Witwatersrand), F.R.A.C.G.P joined us in March 2006 as a part time doctor and works at our Highfield’s practice.  Dr Sukhnundan has a broad interest in Family Medicine. Dr Sukhnundan works limited Saturdays, please check with our reception.

 

Dr Michelle Murphy M.B.Ch.,B D.C.H., D.F.F.P., F.R.A.C.G.P

Dr Murphy works every day at Highfields Medical Centre excepting school holiday’s. Dr Murphy Welcomes New Patients

 

Dr Shiyamala Eswaran M.B.B.S., F.R.A.C.G.P; DRANZCOG

Joined the group in July 2017,  Dr Eswaran has a special interest in family healthcare and mental health issues.  Dr Shiyamala also provides all general practice services, including chronic disease management, childhood and adult immunisations, antenatal, women’s and men’s health care and Mirena insertions and removals. Dr Eswaran works 5 days per week and and limited Saturdays, please check with reception. Dr Eswaran also speaks Tamil and Welcomes New Patients.

 

Dr Laetitia Botha M.B.Ch.B. (Pret), F.R.A.C.G.P;

Dr Botha works two days a week at Highfields District and Medical Centre and limited Saturdays. Dr Botha has a special interest in women’s health and Paediatrics, travel medical and antenatal care and Chronic disease management.Dr Botha hailed from South Africa 12 years ago and did rural health care for 5 years. Dr Both speaks fluent Afrikaans and Welcomes New Patients.

 

 

 

Our current Registrar is; Dr Danielle Allan M.B.B.S; Bach Health (Nurse) DCHD

Dr Allan is a GP registrar who works 2 days per week and limited Saturday’s at the Highfield’s Practice.  Danielle has special interests in Paediatrics and family medicine as well as all aspects of General practice. Danielle can also assist with Implanon insertion and removals. Dr Allan also works as a Senior Medical Officer at Esk Hospital and is the Clinical Director of Rural Medical Services for West Moreton Health.  Dr Allan Welcomes New Patients.
