The Lindsay Street Medical Group comprises two medical centres, Lindsay Street Medical and Highfields and District Medical. We have been providing quality medical care to the Toowoomba and surrounding region for over 40 years. We believe prevention of illness is of the up most importance, but when medical problems arises, we endeavour to look after your individual needs and provide continuity of care with a friendly and caring approach.
Highfields and District Medical was opened in 1995 as part of the Lindsay Street Medical Group. There are 5 General Practitioners on site, in addition to this, there is a Skin Specialist 2 days per week and a Psychologist once a fortnight. The Practice has adequate onsite parking, access for persons with disabilities, toilets and child friendly facilities.
Highfields and District Medical accepts new patients and is a mixed billing practice.

Dr Gawie (pronounced “Harvey”) Roux and Hannelie Roux is a Husband-and-Wife Team that have been running skin cancer clinics together for more than 10 years. Dr Gawie (MbChB, FRACGP, FACRRM, GAICD) with a special interest in Skin Cancer and Hannelie (Registered Nurse) will offer you friendly and personalised care.
Dr Gawie conducts Skin Clinics on Mondays and Wednesdays at Highfields and Tuesdays at Lindsay Street. Appointments are open to both new and existing patients with no referral required. Bookings and his practice fees are available through the practice receptionists or via sunwiseclinics.com.au

Their travel medicine medical team are experienced not just in the needs of overseas travellers but are seasoned travellers themselves. Up to date travel information is always at their fingertips including outbreaks and disease prevention. They provide travel advice to private travellers, corporate travellers, travel agents and school tour groups.
Lindsay Street Medical stocks a large range of vaccines for travel health and general immunisations including Yellow Fever. They can also provide medications for malaria, gastroenteritis and can provide you with personalised travel kits and travel advice.
