We hope this message finds you well as the busy time of year fast approaches. We wanted to inform you about an important update regarding the Shingrix vaccine.
Shingrix is a crucial vaccine for preventing shingles, a painful and potentially serious condition. It is available to people 65 years and over. If you have had a government Zostavax 5 years ago or more, then you are eligible for the Shingrix as well. If you have any questions, please discuss these with our nurses or your doctor.
We understand the importance of timely access to vaccinations, and we are working diligently to accommodate everyone at this time.
If you or someone you know is interested in receiving the Shingrix vaccine and would like to see if your eligible, please contact either clinic to secure your spot. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to make this vaccine accessible to everyone in our community.
When the vaccination is given, you will need to receive a 2-dose course given over an interval of 2 to 6 months. Make sure you finish the complete vaccination course. We are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our community members and appreciate your cooperation.
Thank you for your understanding, and together, let’s prioritize our health and the health of our community.
